Trying hard to lose weight? You tried everything? From avoiding sugar, avoiding fat, exercising and even skipping meals and no success?
That may be because of the hidden calories. Yes, there are hidden calories in our diet that we aren�t aware of.
Here are some drinks that contain those hidden calories and don�t let us get the look we want.


Soft drinks

Diet Coke, Coca Cola Zero, Sprite Zero are drinks with no sugar. But because of this fact they can increase our hunger and need for food. According to a research, the people that tried to lose weight by avoiding sugary drinks, they started eating more sugary food to feed their need for sugar.

  • Juice
    One glass of grape juice contains 9tsp of sugar, orange juice has 6tsp and apple juice has7tsp. Fruit juices contain a lot of sugar and no fiber. It is far better to eat the whole fruit that buy a drink that contains some percentage of the fruit. Drinking these juices leads to increasing of blood sugar, and when the levels of sugar drop, we start craving for more.
  • Coffee
    Can�t start the day without a cup of coffee so you buy yourself a mocha while rushing to work. That mocha contains 220calories. So you better start your day with a strong black sugar-free coffee. You�ll be awaken in a second and losing weight.
  • Skim milk
    Do you drink fat-free milk or whole unsweetened milk? The second one is a better option, because it consists of 0%sugar. Or you can try nut milk which has both less calories and sugar.
  • Ice tea
    Bottled ice tea that we buy in the stores has plenty of sugar in it. You better make yourself your own ice tea with no sugar.
  • Alcohol
    Full of calories and sugar. Drinking even the smallest amount every day or every weekend is a way of gaining that belly fat for sure.
  • Smoothies
    Smoothies are very healthy. But if you don�t consult a nutritionist or follow a recipe you may end up combining the wrong fruit. Meaning, you might combine fruits that will not satisfy your daily need for vitamins and minerals just take plenty of sugar.
